Vesuvio is in North Beach, San Francisco, right across from Ferlinghetti’s famous “City Lights” bookstore (the one that was prosecuted for publishing Ginsberg’s “Howl” in 1956, and in which the wizened Ferlinghetti still hangs out sometimes). Go to Vesuvio for a drink next time you’re out there. (I was in Morocco for Christmas, 2011, and back in Madrid for New Year’s.)
Great compilation!
