ice cream cliffs
an element of fear
two plums and a pair of chopsticks
a trip to mosquito town
hot cold chinese coasters
a dance in the river
a watercolor wordbook
trees reclaim the cabin window
a sudden smell of sage
miracle birth at the witching hour
a mistake
no
a priceless
beginning
One of your best… Thank you for the vivid images.

Really beautiful poem … going to start squirrelling away money so I can see Yosemite one day.

If you squirrel away just enough money to stop in New York, San Francisco/Yosemite, and then New Orleans to see me, you will have had a good trip to the states!

Now that sounds like a wonderful plan…at the moment I only have enough to walk to the railway station, but everyone has to start from somewhere, eh? You are also welcome to come to Kent (where I live) if you plan a trip to England. Not quite as majestic as Yosemite, but it has some pretty apple trees!

Don’t know when I’ll make it back to the UK, but the apple trees of Kent are on the list. I’ll try to email you offline and see if it goes through.
