Phil’s life becomes a fiasco of misdirection when his charismatic brother, Magnus, shows up with the news that he has murdered someone and asks for sanctuary. Magnus then disappears – with Phil’s girlfriend, Hermia – and Phil lands on an uneasy road trip through small town Louisiana with Gus, another rival for Hermia’s attention. Phil and Gus, white and black, find racism, madness, and unlikely friendships as they roll through the bayous and into New Orleans.

Thanks, Niki. Free days ended yesterday but it’s still only $3.99, which people would probably spend going out for a cappuccino or a fancy beer, so spread the word! Gary

Yes, very true. I will. Mine goes for that too because why not? Your Hippies is next on my list. Reading Cynthia Li’s Brave New Medicine atm. ♥.

Thanks, Niki. Hippies, like Goodbye, Maggie, is $3.94 on Kindle, so enjoy, spread the word, and muscle some reviews onto Amazon 🙂 ! Please give us the title of the “yours” you speak of. Your site seems an eclectic “gem” of collected artists, but it’s not easy therein to pinpoint the book you are referencing. Gracias! Gary

Oh sure thing. It’s called “Elanthian Love Songs – A Bard’s Tale.” I put it on my Gravitar but I realize now that you mention it that that doesn’t show up on under1000skies. Thanks very much, Gary. That’s very helpful. ♥.
