    • True, but if I may stick up for a nice blend of imagination and rationalism, I remember looking at some of Gaudi’s 3-D models for his crazy buildings, and the mathematical precision he had to achieve to make them stable was amazing! You are right though — this is different than giving “complete rule” to the rationalists. Give them complete rule, and you get the brutalist movement in architecture, which I personally hate (though to each his own) 🙂
